Thank you for your interest in the London Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship, including the RJB Scholarship, supports young people whose lives have been impacted by cancer as they pursue higher education. Please review the application guidelines below, download the latest form, and submit your completed application by May 29, 2026.

Application

To Be Eligible for Scholarship Consideration: All applicants must be either past or present pediatric oncology patients or their siblings treated at The Tomorrow Fund Clinic at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, or be a pediatric oncology patient or their sibling and be a resident of Rhode Island or the surrounding New England area (MA/CT).

 

All applicants must be attending college in the upcoming year and have not previously been awarded this scholarship. 

 

Please submit an essay explaining how cancer has touched your life and why continuing your education is so important to you.  Please DO NOT put your name on the essay itself.  The essay is the MOST critical aspect of the application process and is reviewed anonymously.  In addition to the essay, you MUST provide a copy of your college acceptance letter or class schedule for the upcoming semester.

 

Please upload the essay (without your name) and acceptance letter/class schedule in a PDF or Word format in the respective sections.   These must be submitted together during the submission process.
