Honoring Robert J. “Ace” Byron’s Legacy of Giving
The Robert J. Byron Memorial Scholarship is a special scholarship that was created in 2012 to honor his memory and his strong support for the fund after his sudden passing. Robert, known to friends and family as Ace, was a devoted supporter of the London Riley Memorial Fund because it meant so much to him. Though he left us too soon, the love and kindness he shared will always be remembered.

Ace was a dedicated husband and a loving father. He lived every day for his wife, Deborah, his daughter Jennifer, his son Derek and his daughter‑in‑law Olivia. Family was everything to him, and it is no surprise that he proudly supported the fund established in honor of his cousin, Christopher T. Riley.

Ace was a devout Catholic and a passionate basketball fan, especially when it came to the Providence College Friars. He was also the person everyone could count on when help was needed. This scholarship continues his generosity, allowing his care for others to live on.
